It's About Time!
Well it's about time I started posting to this blog isn't it?! Honestly, I started this blog without knowing what I was going to do or say on here! But since then I have a lot that I would like to share with you!
First, we bought ourselves a cottage in Maine! I couldn't be more excited about this! I have a lot of family in Maine since both of my parents were born and grew up there. I have spent almost every summer vacation of my life in Saco, Maine and we love it there. My parents rented cottages along the seashore every summer for my brother and sisters to enjoy and now we take our kids there. We also take my parents there with us. And to come full circle, many of my nieces and nephews now live in Maine.
So for the past 3 years or so we have been looking at cottages with the intent to one day buy. Finally we took the plunge when we came across this lovely little bungalow in the Pine Point area of Scarborough, Maine. It is in need of a lot of TLC which for me, couldn't be better! I get to dig in and get my hands dirty while renovating a whole house to my liking. We have been going up to Maine every weekend to work on it. I have decided to add my pictures on my blog here and I will try to keep you all up to date on the progress.
